Project Title:
Development of WordPress Theme (Header + Footer) for funkydevelopers.com

1. Objective

Create a custom WordPress theme that includes:

  • Header styled exactly like Apple.com (white background, minimalist, centered logo, clear navigation, slim height).

  • Footer also similar to Apple.com (light background, accordion style in mobile, well-structured links).

Only Header and Footer are needed at this stage.

2. Requirements

2.1. Technical Requirements

  • Platform: WordPress

  • Page Builder Compatibility: Elementor compatible (no breaking issues).

  • Speed: 100/100 score on Google PageSpeed Insights (Desktop & Mobile).

  • SEO: Basic SEO-ready structure (header tags hierarchy, alt texts in logo if used).

  • Code Quality: Clean, lightweight, and minimal dependencies (no bloated plugins).

  • No CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) errors.

  • Responsive across Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop.

2.2. Design Requirements

Header Design

  • White background (#FFFFFF).

  • Center-aligned logo.

  • Navigation Menu Items:

    • Black color text.

    • Bold typography.

    • Use Poppins font-family.

  • Include:

    • Call Button (phone icon + number link).

    • WhatsApp Button (WhatsApp icon + chat link).

    • Search Icon (opens search popup or inline field).

    • Cart Icon (redirects to cart page).

Mobile Header Behavior:

  • Left: Menu Toggle Button.

  • Center: Company Logo.

  • Right: Search and Cart icons.

  • Smooth sticky header behavior on scroll.

Footer Design

  • Light background (similar to Apple.com light grey #F5F5F7).

  • Structured Footer Links in columns.

  • In Mobile: Accordion-style sections (to save vertical space).

  • Sticky Call and WhatsApp Buttons on mobile screens.

2.3. Performance Optimization

  • Minify and combine CSS and JS.

  • Use WebP or AVIF image formats for logo and icons.

  • No external heavy libraries unless necessary.

  • Font preloading for Poppins.

2.4. Compatibility

  • Browser Compatibility: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

  • Device Compatibility: Mobile, Tablet, Desktop.

  • WordPress Version: Latest stable release.

  • Elementor Version: Latest stable release.

3. Deliverables

  • WordPress Theme ZIP file (installable).

  • Theme should have:

    • Header.php

    • Footer.php

    • functions.php (with necessary support like menus, widgets).

    • style.css (proper theme info header).

  • Installation and setup instructions.

4. Future Scope (optional phase)

  • After header & footer approval, expand theme to full templates:

    • Home, Services, Portfolio, Blog, Contact Pages.

  • Charges: If you charge hourly I am okay with that but be professional on reporting me same with powerful software and proper data about your developer’s efficiency don’t expect me to trust you without any kind of proper data instead of that you can quote me on a project basis both are okay.
  • Timeline: Please give me a proper timeline after seeing all holidays and business days don’t be late it’s your loss.
  • Advanced Payment: If you have a portfolio and proper tax and billing invoice then only expect me to pay 50% in advance otherwise I have a proper purchase order and vendor agreement that will provide you before starting the work and will do instant payment after testing the software.
  • Support: I expect you to give me support at least one month after this is made if there is any genuine error I am professional and know the difference between extra work and a genuine problem.
